I am new to your group, and I would be most grateful to obtain info on the above. Mary Ann was the oldest of 12 children in the family of my gggrandparents. She was born to Delaney and Sarah (Weldon) Grannell,in Dorchester, NB, 1 Dec 1822, raised in Cocagne, NB and married James Lucas abt 1846, in either Cocagne, Buctouche or Shediac, NB(all neighboring towns. James, who was born in 1818, was a farmer and blacksmith in Dundas Parish in the 1861 Census. Later, they move to Port Elgin, Westmoreland County, NB, where they died and were buried in Fernwood Cemetery. James d,1902; Mary Ann d. 11 Oct 1877. They had 5 ch a/o 1861, Elizabeth J. b. ca 1847; Sarah E. b.ca 1849; Charles D.b.1862,d.1921 m. Florence (Unknown); James P.b. ca 1858; Annetta M. b. ca 1860. I am hoping these names and dates will connect with someone in the group, as I would love to find Mary Ann's descendants and share family info with them. :-) Jan
