Dear List: I am looking for any descendants or information regarding the family of Samuel and Elizabeth Biggs/Briggs Lucas. I have lost the entire family after the 1860 Laurel Co. KY, census except for my great grandfather Harvey Lucas who married 1st Jane Bridges in Nashville, TN about 1873 (Jane died in Laurel Co., KY in 1876) and 2nd Sarah Angeline Hibbard. Known children of Samuel and Elizabeth are as follows: Harvey (my great grandfather) b. ca 1845 Minerva b. ca 1846 Nancy b. ca 1848 William b. ca 1851 John b. ca 1853 Owen b. ca 1855 Sally b. ca 1858 Could the entire family of Samuel and Elizabeth have gone to TN and only Harvey and wife Jane returned to Laurel Co., KY?
