My father James Lockie Lucas was born 28 Aug 1896 in St. Marys Co. MD. His fathers name was James(don't know middle name). Rumour has it that he was killed in analtercation with a country store owner who refused my grandfather credit after the failure of my grandfathers tobacco crop. My father had four older sisters, Mary Agnes, Lottie Rebecca, Susie Edna and Bessie M. If anyone out there has any info on this family PLEASE contact me at JoRaeDahl@aol.com.
