I am researching three brothers Edward, Thomas and Rees Lucas who appear in the Llangurig, Montgomeryshire, Wales parish about 1680. I do not know where they came from. Does anyone have any information which might be useful? Does anyone know if one locality is the root of the Lucas surname. I am aware the name means "son of Luke".
