I am looking for information about Benedict Lucas Sr born in 1774 in Maryland (some references have him born in VA ?). His father was Ignatius Lucas Sr born 1731and his mother Catherine was born 1734. There were 11 children listed in a 1776 Maryland census, 1 male above the age of 16, 4 males under 16, and 6 females. I have quite a bit of information on Benedict's descendants if you are interested. Any information about this family would be appreciated. They eventually settled in Breckinridge County, KY but it is believed they also lived in VA at some point. Benedict's wife, Rachel Crume was from Shenandoah County, VA. Thanks and good luck!
