Hi all, I have an Abraham Koontz (ancestor of Admiral Coontz) m. Elizabeth Lucas, dates ??? She was the dau. of Edward Lucas III, b. 1738, d. 1809 and Eliz. Edwards b. in Berkely Co. (now Jefferson Co.) W. Va. Edward was s/o Edward Lucas II, 1710-1777, and Mary Darke, 1709-1743 Edward II s/o Edward Lucas I (died 1740 in Falls Twp.) ??? and Bridget Scott Edward I s/o Robert Lucas I of Deverall, Longbridge, Wilts, England I apologize for the sketchy information but perhaps this will be of some help to someone who can research deeper into this family.
