I am still in the early stages of researching my mother's line, and would like to hear from anyone who may be researching LUCAS families in the Clay County, IN area. My mother's grandmother was Etta "Ettie" Viola LUCAS (b. 5 Sep 1878 ,Clay,IN d. Nov 1954 Brazil,Clay,IN). She married Joseph BLEDSOE. I believe her parents were named Luke Bransford LUCAS and Louisa O'NEIL, but this is not definite. I have a large number of photographs from 1900-1925 with what I believe to be some of Etta's LUCAS relatives in them. I would appreciate any help I can get in identifying some of these people!
