Hello to All, Many of you may remember me as the founder of the Lucas Family Discussion Mailing List over a year ago. I pasted the list over to Terri Lucas due to my new venture back in October 1996, "The Lucas Genealogy Society". To date, the society has grown to over 25 members. For those of you that are new to the list and might not be aware of the society, let me explain a little about it. The society puts out a quarterly newsletter. In this newsletter, the following subjects are addressed: Letter from the Editor, New Members this Quarter, New Queries. And new to the next issue, "The Historic Corner". In the Historic Corner, I plan on including such things as copies of wills, deeds, and copies of historic Lucas houses and gravestones. I have placed on advertisement in the Everton's Genealogical Helper magazine, which turned a very good response. I plan on placing future ad's in this magazine to help boost membership.
