Thank you for sharing your LOY report. It seems that many LOYS came to the USA in the early 1700's. My main interest is in the Loys of Europe. I find them in Germany,Switzerland,Austria,and Russia, England and Denmark. My GG Grandfather,Johann Pekar married Katkerina (Sarina)Loy 1819 in Gura Humoruli,Bukovina,Austria,(now Romania). Her parents were Michael Loy and Barbara Feigel. I beleive they were apart of the migration to this region in the 1770's, but from where? I beleive that Johann Pekar came from Bohemia (now Czechoslovakia0 but can't find his parents either. The Pekars and Loys lived in Paltnosa ,Austria (abt 5 mi from Gura Humoruli )for over a hundred years.
