I don't think it's exactly my Jacob Loy, but might be his father. Mine was born 1775'ish in Maryland (as was his wife) and moved to Ohio by about 1808. Wife unknown. Now I'm wondering if maybe my Jacob was your Jacob's firstborn son and not accounted for since he moved out of state? Has anyone come across your Jacob's will or probate that you know of? You do say "other children", so is there a Jacob listed as a son of your Jacob, b. 1775 or so? Teddy
