Angela, I don't think it's Solomon Loy's, since he had a certain mark (a dot circled S) with or without his name, but may be of his brothers or sons. I couldn't read the marking under the signed "Loy" very clearly. If you're not planning on bidding on it yourself, could you bid on it for me, as long as it doesn't go over $15 plus postage? (I'll reimburse you.) I'll be at college most of the day on the 8th so won't have time to bid before closing. Since I'm taking ceramics at college, this is a double interest to me. I'm posting this on the Loy board so in case anyone is planning on buying it, I will let that person have priority, and so we won't be bidding against each other and pay more than we have to!
