I'm wondering if Jacob might have visited Henry while on his way to Iowa, since it would have been on the way. I do know that the route brother William took to MO (and then to Iowa) would have taken him through Cairo. The part about the widow and son and daughter makes it confusing when comparing it to Henry's family, but if the part about Henry being Mormon was right, maybe the widow part was confused with the Clapp family, since Henry's family lived in IL?? We might find more about this mystery if we can confirm the Decker marriage to the Loy daughter. I checked on the internet last night and could only find Charles Franklin Decker's marriage to Vilate Young (b. 1830) daughter of Brigham Young. I can't imagine him just having one wife, though this gedcom didn't give any other for him. If any of you come across more info on other wives for Charles Decker, please let me know. Delores
