He was born in Germany in about 1836, and came to the US, where he enlisted in the Civil War in 1861. He lived in Indiana at the time of his enlistment. So, if you can take a look at the bible again, I would be most interested if it contained any info on GABRIEL LOY. I have no info on his parents or siblings at this time.
