I had printed out a list of solders from the War of 1812. And lo and behold there at the top of the list was Andrew Loy from the 7th regiment in the Virginia Militia. I don't have any clear evidence at all if he is related to me in any way. But this is an important find and link in the Loy line in VA. Keep up the good work! Love, Barbara

But we can at least be civil and 1) write to the person off-line from the mail list (using personal e-mail address and 2) at least be civil minded in the language. It may be okay to say you are angry, disappointed or whatever privately, but then even there, you need to be as kind as possible while saying your concerns (but please let them be constructive criticism, and not just mouthing off). Although I have told someone I was angry about language I perceived as implying a grandiose attitude, hindsight has made me remorse for even that.
