    3. New Thread- I would like to solve a little family puzzle-- Great Aunt by marriage is totally untraceable until the 1900 Census in Baltimore, MD. Her husband Seibert Irving Strayer, our Greatuncle, was founder of Strayer Business Schools in Baltimore and several other sites in PA. Her maiden name, from death certificate, info by spouse, in 1929 near Philadelphia, was Ceecye Mystel (per 1900 census born June 1858 in Maryland ) Seibert's grand-nephew, Joe Strayer, skirted the issue and didn't seem comfortable discussing her, but I gained the impression that her name might have been a "stage name" or perhaps something more reprehensible. Seibert was the son of a Minister and they had no children. I have several times tried to locate a family for her but have not even found a marriage license to aid in the process. They might have married either in Maryland or Delaware. On the 1900 census the marriage is said to be 8 years old. So I am looking for a marriage license application or similiar, circa 1892, in the Baltimore area as well as thinking that Seibert's father Daniel Strayer, a Baptist minister, in PA, might have done the ceremony or equally Seibert's uncle Seibert Mathew Strayer, a Protestant-Methodist minister of the Maryland conference might have been involved. One of those annoying, niggling "brick walls." Any and all clues and thoughts are welcome. Glenda Siverling Strayer {Strayer/Wootten/Bevins/Myers/Kronmiller}
