    2. Jim, No William Richardson appears in Volume 1, 2, or 3 of the Downstate Delaware Genealogical Society's "Tombstones of Sussex County Delaware." On page 494 of Volume Three in "NF-3002 (HU-34) Bridgeville Public Cemetery" appear the names of: Richardson, Sarah E., b. 1827, d.1906 Richardson, Virginia Ann, b. 10/23/1991, d. 10/23/1991 That is the Sarah of which you speak, but no other Richardsons in that cemetery, and no sign of William Henry in any of the cemeteries listed in the three volumes. Wish I had a better answer! >From windy and rainy NW NJ, but with the power still on, Andrew Huston In a message dated 10/29/2012 3:36:51 P.M. William Henry Richardson was the son of John Richardson and Letitia Layton. William was born about 1814 and was dead by 1900. He was postmaster of Bridgeville in 1870 and 1880. On 31 Jan 1844 he married Sarah Elizabeth Hatfield (c1822-). There is a Sarah E Richardson (1827-1906) in Bridgeville Cem, but no William. No Sussex probate for Wm or Sarah. Anyone know what happened to William? Thanks for your consideration.
