If it is not available online, usually you can simply order one from the National Hqrtrs in Cincinnati, OH. www.sar.org I am glad to see what is available through my member access. But I do know that even members have to pay to have a copy of an application sent to them. At present both the SAR and the DAR use similarly professional guidelines to verify the source info on all applications. Many yrs ago both organizations had a much more lax attitude abt who and how people connected their ancestor lines. Therefore SOME of the older applications (in both the SAR & the DAR) will require extra effort and documentation to meet today’s standards. However, to say that the DAR will not accept any SAR application is a misconstruel of the facts. Richard Baer
