    1. [LDR] "Missing" Libers in Land Records (Somerset County)
    2. Roy Pollitt
    3. I am in the process of downloading the land records books for Somerset County for my own private use. I have noticed references in the old index books to certain libers that I cannot find online. Just wondering if anyone knows if any of these exist in the MSA: L 14 1690-1702 GI 13 1702-1705 MA 3 1678-1688 SC 9 1671-1673 AC 25 1715-1716 EF 5 1716-1719 There may be others I have not "found" but this is a start. 1. [LDR] Merry Christmas and Happy New Year To All!
    2. ..... from cold and windy Central IL [visiting from  TN] this holiday season to everyone on this wonderful List!  While I haven't been "active" on the List for a while [as I've been procrastinating writing up my pile of research --- not near as much fun as the discovery phase :) ] , I continue to enjoy reading the great research tips and information posted by List users on a regular basis.   This List has been invaluable over the years...gotta be one of the better such ones out there. Cree Newbold PS  -- Just wondering...did John Lyon ever publish his amazing land record research in any form anywhere?  Last I remember from a few years ago , he was "close" to completing his research on Maryland sourced records for the area of "Old Somerset County" through it's changes up to around the late 18th Century.  But I do n't recall ever seeing any mention that he had published the fruits of his labors in any form.  Thanks specifically to him answering some of my questions on this List and elsewhere some years ago, he enabled me to figure out where my Newbold ancestor's land owership was in Somerset and Sussex Counties, and more specifically, how to find and understand what was available in the record to do this.  As I said...just wondering.......
