*I am trying to compile a listing of the Libers (Books) created by the three Maryland county Registers of Wills that I am researching -- Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester. As a result I have a few questions. When I speak of the Libers I include all probate records (admins, bonds, distributions, estate accounts, etc. .... not just wills). I am not, however, including land records (which fall under the Clerks of the Circuit Court jurisdiction). (1) Does anyone know of an existing online list(s) of the libers of any or all of these 3 counties? (2) In Worcester County ... what does the MH in several libers stand for? I assume it is the name of the Register of Will at the time. (3) Does anyone know of a list(s) online of the historical Registers of Wills for these 3 counties? BTW --- I would also love to work on Sussex County DE, too, but since so little of the records of Sussex County are online it is not worth my time and effort now. Thanks in advance. Roy C. Pollitt *
