    2. As the others have said, your offer(s) are most generous. I'd be interested (Dorchester) in any brand of Hopkins. Thank you. 2. Ed Vaughn
    3. Kari, I would be interested in any listings for Vaughan/Vaughn before before 1689. My brick wall is with William Vaughan b.1689 in Somerset Co. Md. Where his parents came from or who they were is a mystery. I realize that this is the period before Wiliam Penn when the Dutch, Sweeds and English each had been trying to gain control of the territory and pirates were operating on the Delaware river. I am also aware of the migration of settlers into NewCastle and Sussex County (Deale) around 1670 from Sumerset Co. MD and VA into DE where my family ended up near Dover and my family are still land owners. Family records show up in Sussex County later which was not offically named until 1680 and Kent County. Then in 1682 William Penn encouraged emigration from Europe by selling land in DE to hundreds of emigrants. So this period was very busy. Being from afar, (Oregon) I can not visit the archives and follow the trails easily. I really appreciate the resources available to the members here. My records are fairly complete (FTW) since then. Thanks much to all, Ed Vaughn www.vaughnfarm.org Kari Farnell wrote: >I have also recently obtained two books from Dorchester county.
