Well, as I suspected, you fell victim to the opaque or non-helpful guidance in mdlandrec. I won't diagnose what they didn't tell you, but just point you in the right direction: Rather than CE160, go to the subsequent links that mention grantors or grantees. Arriving there, you should be able to follow the "Next" link at the upper right to get to the surname you're after. When you find that, there will be a page number. Then use the navigation at the top to go to that index page. There you'll find the list of deeds associated with the family. Write down those you're interested in. Then return to the county home page and enter at the top the Book and page number for one of those deeds. It should appear and you should be gratified at last. You'll have to do this twice to capture the grantors and grantees, of course. Let me/us know how you fared. John Lyon .....several weeks ago, I asked an organizer of the above event re a syllabus on your presentation and presently received your direct response that you had tentative plans to post an outline (my interpretation) of your material (if there was interest, and so on). I haven't seen any followup as yet, but this will re-confirm my interest if you find it convenient to make the material available. Thanks, Joe Lake
