In the "Index to Talbot County, Maryland Marriages, 1657-91, 1728-51, and 1781", a Richd Holms is listed as getting married to Rachel Abbott on 06-15-1739. There is an Eve Holmes, widow, listed in the index to wills. The will is located in (Liber/Folio) 18-327, date is 1724. Those are the only related listings in these particular books.
