    1. Re: [LDR] Eastern Shore Migrations
    2. Thank you for posting this info. It is very helpful. If you think some of them stopped off in Norfolk, VA you may be interested in looking at the Norfolk History web site: _http://www.usgwarchives.org/va/norfolkcity/norfolkcitycem.html_ (http://www.usgwarchives.org/va/norfolkcity/norfolkcitycem.html) which has a new look. All of the cemeteries in Norfolk are listed on this site with the names of those buried in each. Unfortunately, there is no master list of names across all cemeteries. In my case I focused on Elmwood/Cedar Grove Cemetery and Forest Lawn where generations of the maternal side of my family are buried. I noticed over forty CANNON surnames and some HITCH names in these three cemeteries. There may be other Delmarva names there as well. And on a note of civic pride I encourage you to explore other features on Norfolk history at this site. George Bacon For Mike Hitch: Mike, Last year I found out that a Hitch family whom I have known must of my life here in Norfolk has Eastern Shore roots. **************Looking for a car that's sporty, fun and fits in your budget?
