    1. Re: [LDR] Delaware Records
    2. Some of Delaware's vital records are available on microfilm thru the Family History Library. More may be viewed at the Delaware Public Archives. The microfilmed records at the FHL include: Births 1910-1923 Marriages 1910-1955 Deaths 1910-1955 More recent years may be viewed at the Archives, restricted by a 40 year rule for marriages and deaths and a 70 year rule for births. Incomplete filings for b-d-m are also available for years prior to 1910 on microfilm both at the FHL and the Archives. Delaware is one of the few states which has permitted the FHL to make its vital records so easily accessible by the public. Even tho it was mandatory for filings after 1910, many persons were not thusly recorded in the first decade or so. We have searched for birth records for a family of 12 children and have found just 2 birth certificates in the years between 1910 - 1920. _http://archives.delaware.gov/collections/vital.shtml_ (http://archives.delaware.gov/collections/vital.shtml) _http://archives.delaware.gov/_ (http://archives.delaware.gov/) _http://archives.delaware.gov/collections/collections.shtml_ (http://archives.delaware.gov/collections/collections.shtml) **************New MapQuest Local shows what's happening at your destination.
