I have found that the free PAF program which can be downloaded from the Mormon Church web site (www.family search.org) is very good. However, the very best program is "The Master Genealogist" from Wholly Genes. It does everything and is compatible with everything. It is particularly good in terms of generated reports in a variety of formats. This is the "Gold Standard" of genealogy programs.
