Looking for information about Rachel Paul and her family. I have very little information about her. I am assuming ( that forbidden word ) her name was Rachel Griffith Paul. I summized that information from Dorchester County Genealogical magazine, Vol. 5 - # 6, page 24, March 1986 edition -- Dorchester Wills at Hall of Records. Liber 25, folio 237 Lewis Griffith states his father was Lewis, sister Mary Keen He leaves his possessions to children of Rachel Paul, He list her children as -- Lewis Griffith Paul, Slitor Griffith Paul,Dosier Griffith Paul, Jean ( Jane) Griffith Paul also mentions Mary Paul "supposed daughter of Betty Paul. Also noted " all children were minors" Great Choptank Parish Records. Vol 13, pages 35 and 43, Birth and Bapt. Records shows Slighter Griffith Paul and Rebecca had a daughter Peggy born 1801 and a son Jabus born 1805. Any information will be helpful ! Thanks, Sylvia
