Ellen, Can you please give me directions to this Parker cemetery? Is it a church or public cemetery? I am trying to find the grave of my Dad's grandfather and I know he does not have a marker so I would need to talk with someone about the records... His name is Oscar Lee Parker and he was born in Greenwood, De. in 1885 and died in 1947. His father, Charles W. is from Pittsville and his maternal grandmother, Leah A. Holland is from Maryland, but is buried in Odd Fellows in Laurel, De. She married William F. Gordy and their daughter Annie is Oscar's mother... The funeral home in Greenwood said they have lost some of their records...but that he was send to Laurel, De.?? I am not sure how they can know that without some records? I have not been able to locate him in either of the Laurel Cemeteries and I spoke with both the directors of Laurel Hill and Odd Fellow cemeteries. Is there possibly another smaller one in Laurel?
