Here is a transcript of a Power of Attorny from Archibald Smith [1736-1799] of Georgia {Hancock County} to sell part of Bacon Quarter. This Power of Attorney concerns a two tracts, containing 137 Acres that formed part of Bacon Quarter which he had previously sold. Immediately following this power of attorney is a quitclaim deed followed by another quitclaim deed to this land.
