I am new to this list but I see that it seems to be fairly active. I've been reading back through the archived postings to see what I've missed. Is anyone working on the ancestry of Philip Barrett (1731-1784) and Miriam Sipple of Kent Co. Delaware (founders of Barratt's Chapel)? I am particularly interested in tracking Matthew Patton(1773-1829) who married Lydia Barrett (1780-1864), daughter of Philip Barrett Jr. & Miriam Sipple (1737-1800) before he and Lydia left Delaware and they went to Caroline Co. Maryland. Looking for any clues to their years before about 1800.particularly.
