I wonder what the "breakdown" is today in America of how marriage affects the wife's name. Keep her maiden name as her middle name and take her husband's surname? Keep her middle name as her middle name, but taking her husband's surname? Keep her name entirely? Has the practice varied in America bynational ancestral origins? Dave K
