    3. Teresa, Thank you for your offer, but the mystery has been solved by the ever-helpful Louise Planer. She discovered that the name in the Hudson records should be LAWSON, not LAYTON. She found a Lawson family with most of the names I cited living in the Millsboro area. At least I was able to dispose of that bunch of brick walls all at once. Have a nice weekend.
