    3. Hi Jean, I find this very funny, I just got off the phone with my Aunt that is 94 and we were talking about my Grandmothers family, the Owens, from this area. I will see what I have as one of my cousin did a lot of research one the Owens. I am just now going though the info I have just gotten. I will see what I find.     3. That would be wonderful. Thank you. John married (unknown when) Anne. I have no idea what her maiden name was. The names of their sons do not offer any help. My Owens family did not use surnames as first names. His sons were Zachariah, Thomas, John and Adam. They had one daughter, Nancy. All of his children were born in Tyrrell Co., NC after 1730.
