This may be obvious to many of you, but I want to make sure I clearly understand the phrase/excerpt below, from the 1792 will of John Timmons of Sussex County: "...for my wife. As I read this it means that John Timmons bequeathed the slave woman, Easther to his wife, but not any children Easther may bear after her ownership transfers to the wife.
