I have a Levin Milby, who was born prior to 1742. There were several other Levin Milby's after that, but there doesn't appear to have been any other Levin's in the Milby family prior to this one. I have always heard that the name was biblical. There is a Levin Vaughan, Levin Smith, Levin Gale, Levin Dashiell, & others in the 1700s and 1800s and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about the name Levin and its use in the Delmarva peninsula.
