I think we know what will happen. Elizabeth In a message dated 8/1/2010 12:11:49 A.M. Sometime over the past couple of years they've done some kind of reorganizing of their mdlandrec indexing scheme, which used to be aware that multiple deed volumes in a county might share an identifier like "L" here. It would then give you your options. That no longer happens. Bpppffft. All the volumes have been scanned, and were all formerly accessible. But you have been here victmized by evil mdlandrec indexing mice. This would not be the only Somerset volume so affected. There's nothing for it but to send them a note and inform them that their system has deteriorated. And then wait to see what happens. Unfortunately the original for the latter, the one you want, seems to have been lost. It is not listed in the MSA holdings. Fortunately there seems to be a microfilm copy of it, identified as CR 31817 or MSA citation CM963-47 . Unfortunately for your needs, when they did the scanning of the Somerset land records volumes for MdLand Rec they must have done them from the original libers, not from the microfilms, so the Volume L that you are interested in wasn't scanned. Seems like the only way to get what you need is visit MSA and look at the microfilm, unless Nabb has copy of it.
