For some reason I was looking in the Fowke Family Tree book compiled and published by Ray Fowke, Hamilton, New Zealand. In the line for Daniel Fookes (#18AS, Tree B) I found the following: b. 25 Nov 1785 d. ______ m. 16 Feb. 1811 at Worcester, MD, USA to Nancy Carey. “Daniel moved to Cypress Creek, near Paducah, KY with his family about 1830.” Children: James Liburn Fooks b. 1816 Jonathan Fookes b. 1918 Samuel Fookes b. 1821 Annis Fookes b. 1823 Eleanor Fookes b. 1825 Daniel Fookes b. 1828 Leah Fookes b. 1831 I don't know if this will be of help, but thought I'd pass it along.
