Would some lister please comment, if possible, re the following question: In Sussex Co, DE c1740-1750, would it have been legal (& allowed) for the beneficiary of a will (a son of the the testator) to have also been one of two witnesses to the authenticity of the creation and signing of the will? If such a witnessing would have been illegal, would the prohibition have been strictly enforced? Thank you, Joe Lake
