While reading the Journal of John Charles Philip von Krafft ... 1776-1784 By Johann Carl Philipp von Krafft I came across his description of his travels in January 1778 (pgs. 10-16) from Sinepuxent to join Washington above Philadelphia. Numerous towns or villages are mentioned; Blackfort (30 miles from Sinepuxent), Doves Town (54 mi from Blackfort), Duck Crack (12 mi further), etc., along with Inns (Montgomery, St Patrick) and various persons, Thomas Anderson, Major Bell. These places would seem to be in Delaware. What is their modern equivalent? _http://books.google.com/books?id=-VZKAAAAYAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=krafft +journal&hl=en&ei=fmWCTMjkF8OBlAeuq9XYDw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnu m=2&ved=0CC8Q6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q&f=false_ (http://books.google.com/books?id=-VZKAAAAYAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=krafft+journal&hl=en&ei=fmWCTMjkF8OBlAeuq 9XYDw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CC8Q6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q&f=f alse)
