    3. Tom- In 1659-60, the Virginia legislature passed an act to surpress the Quakers. This caused many Quakers to leave and emigrate to Maryland where they could live in peace. My ancestor, George Truitt, was one who left. He settled at Mulberry Grove plantation on Five Mile Branch, near what is now Snow Hill. The meeting went by the name Pocotynorton or Bogerternorton. George donated land for a "buring place" which is now on the grounds of a school. This meeting and George are mentioned in both Thomas Chalkey and Thomas Story's writings about their travels. The meeting dissolved sometime before the Revolution. I don't know if this will help, good luck. Beverly Wilson
