A while ago I posted a notice here about the third annual Sussex County Cousins get-together. In case you missed it here are the details. It is co-sponsored by the Sussex County Genealogical Society and the Laurel (DE) Public Library. Date: Friday,October 8 Time: 10AM to 3PM Place: Laurel (DE) Public Library 101 E. Fourth St, Laurel DE Program: 10AM till Noon- Registration and sharing research and information of common surnames with others Noon to 1PM- Lunch break-either brown bag or go to a local restaurant 1PM to 3PM- Panel of 3 very, very experienced Sussex County researchers will share their ideas on how to surmount your brickwall or any other questions you may have about Sussex County information you are seeking. This will be done in conjunction with a form that you will complete and hand in at registration. For a copy of this form please email me off-line at [email protected] and I will see that you get one. You can also email me with any questions you may have. Please mark your subject line " Cousins" so that I don't delete it. The library does not close until 5PM that day so you might also want to take advantage of their wonderful collection of Sussex County Genealogy and Delaware history. Hope to see you on October 8!
