    3. Hi Elizabeth, You always come to my rescue and I thank you. Yes I have bits and pieces that I have gotten from books. I live in Fla. so I can't storm the Archives. I got my info from Worcester Co., MD Orphans Court Proceedings Vol. 1 1777-1800; Vol 2 1800-1816; and Rev. Patriots of Worcerster and Somerset Counties, MD 1775-1783 as will as Nottingham's books in VA. According to Nottingham's Soldiers and Sailors of the Eastern Shore of Va in the Rev. War Christopher Ball, John Ball, Samuel Ball, Levi Ball, William Ball and Elizabeth Richardson are the only heirs at law of James Ball and Seger Ball who were soldiers in the VA Continental Line in the Rev. War, can this mean that only James and Seger were in VA and not the others named? In the Rev. Patriots of Worcester and Somerset Co's Jacob Ball; Ens. John Ball; Pvt John Ball; Levi Ball; Samuel; Ball and William Ball are listed as serving from MD. Elizabeth Mills was not Elizabeth Richardson. In Levi's Estate's 1809 distribution Ralph Richardson received $129.16 from Christopher Ball, adm. of Levi Ball's Estate. Since Elizabeth did not receive the distribution, I "assume" she had died by 1809. According to Worcester Co. Orphans Court Records Vol. 3 1816-1823, Ralph Richardson and David K. Baker were Test. for the balance due Luther and Adelia Ball from their father John Ball's Estate. I sent to Wash. DC many times for something on Seger Ball (spelled many ways) but have received nothing. No one seems to know anything about him. I would like to know where Nottingham got Seger's name. I have posted and posted for info on Seger but have never received a response. Somebody must know something. Sorry for my rambling.
