Since I don't have Ruth Dryden's book on Worcester County, could someone help me please locate the land records for Hogs Quarter Queponco (1783 tax list owned by David Bowen). A David Bowen with wife Nancy sold part of Partnership to Outen Toadville 1806. I am trying to place a number of Bowens in this time period including this David, Levin (d. 1788 wife Rachel), Salathiel, Josiah, and Eli (wife Polly)d. 18 10 (who has brothers George and Whittington - also unplaced) Also when someone is listed in 1783 - e.g., Levin Bowen with no land name attached does this mean they were perhaps renting or using land owned by someone else?
