Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: The first Isaac Bowen died by 21 June 1816 when Isaac Marshall became the administrator de bonis non of Nathaniel Bowen's estate (Skinner). He was son of Nathaniel Bowen. He had one son Lambert. The second Isaac Bowen was named in the deed with the children of Elijah Bowen in 1834: "Esme P. Bowen and Mary J. Bowen his wife, Isaac Bowen, Peter bowen, Parker Bowen and Sally his wife, John F. Purnell and Eliza Purnell his wife land that Elijah devised to his wife and then to fall to his son Littleton" (the former sell to Littleton) This Isaac is not named with any wife and he is living in 1834. (JCH 1, 1834-1835 f. 0328). The third Isaac Bowen was this one: On 13 February 1832, Noah Bowen petitioned the court to divide the land left by his father Isaac Bowen. (Worcester Cty, LIB #4, Pt 2, PP1-11, 13 Feb 1832.) This Isaac Bowen was sold Goshen and Mayfields by Zipporah Williamson, widow of Stuart. She was one of the daughters of Rouse Fassitt. This Isaac Bowen is probably the Isaac Bowen with wife Augusta who makes a number of land transactions throughout the early 1800's. Isaac Bowen had a number of other children in addition to Noah. This Isaac Bowen is also the Isaac Bowen, I believe, who was a trustee of the ME Church and was part of the sale of a lot of Yorkshire to the ME Church: Dryden: 26 Aug 1803 Riley Bowen with wife Betty Bowen sold to Purnell Porter, John Scott, Edward Burbage, Jeptha Bowen, Eliza Bowen, Isaac Bowen and Samuel Porter trustees of Methodist Epis. Church 3/4 acres. 27 jan 1806 Isaac Bowen with wife August Bowen, sold to trustees of Methodist Epis. Church of America 3/4 acres now called BOWENS MEETING HOUSE LOT.
