    3. Did you want to start a pool on the response time? Not that it makes a difference, but I'm not sure how they'll send this to you. The originals are very, very large sheets. I might also mention that the on-line index to these was done a good while back (by a grad student, if I recall aright), unfamiliar with the territory, who tended to mangle some of the names, both of property and people. So you may run into a few things that are not as specified there. I've reconciled virtually everything in the 1783 Somerset lists with "reality", but have never gotten around to *completing* this painful process for the 3204 entries I count (tract names + individuals without land) as tabulated for Worcester. The next time I have a few hundred free hours, though ....     3. Well well well.... inflation hits the Maryland Archives "Thank you for your request to obtain copies of pages 1-5 of Queponco Hundred in Worcester County from the 1783 Tax Assessment. Please note that, effective May 12, 2010, the price for a copy, even when a complete citation (county name, type of record, volume and page number/box and folder number/case number, full name of the person, and year) is provided, is $35.00."     3. It might be better to buy all the images on CD for $40 from the Archives rather than 5 photocopies at $35.
