Hi Jackie- My husband's mother was a Curry and her family history leads back to Perth and Sterlingshire. Seagoing people. They were in NJ/Maryland area then moved down to the Carolina's, were Loyalists and so were removed forcibly to Bahamas and did not return until 1830's or so when they got over to Key West and then up to Braidenstown, FL.
