    3. Not that I know what happened, but I'm sure you all must know about Ancestry.com being hacked? It was down for over three days, and I couldn't even work on my family tree as it is FTM and is connected directly to Ancestry. It appears to be back up and running now. They didn't put anything on their website about it either. So perhaps the stupid hackers are now putting their time into genealogy! 1. [LDR] Worcester and Vicinity Families- revisited - TINGLE HAMBLIN
    2. dennis gries
    3. Hello - been a few years since I worked on this: Looking for updating on Tingle Hamblin 1841-1917, who married Sarah M Taylor 1842-1908 in 1863. Obits for either would be great. I have a family listing for Sarah (she's our "connect"), so we'd love to hear from any other "connected". They had one child: John D in about Aug 1864 and in 1889 he married Augusta Wells (Sep 1871--). I believe he lived beyond 1940 when found with son in Cecil Co, and she dies 1900-10. Deaths not found (a while ago) on the MD Rec site. So, certain dates, places of death would be great. John and 'gussie' had 3 children: Sylvanus in 1890, William A in 1901, and Nancy P in 1903 - all born in DE (Sussex). Sylvanus and Edith (Pusey) appear just to have one child = Lorna 15 Jul 1934 believed to be married to Jay William Miller. William is believed to be the person dec. on Jul 9 1966 and buried in Parsons. More certain info, obit would be great. Finally, Nancy P is only found in the 1910 census, and not in the 1920 census. Is she dead, did she marry young, etc. Any info would be great. Thanks all Dennis and Judy

    3. Barring further refinement, I would call Margaret a 1st cousin, 5 times removed! I descend from her Uncle James Thompson. I've seen Hinman and Hindman. Anything definitive on spelling? I would be interested in Info on Margaret's siblings, parents and ancestors for starters. And where are the descendants now? Just for starters.   Jay Thompson just an old genealogy nut too tough to crack. Eastern Daylight Time, cpeb@juno.com writes: I have researched for over 40 years and I know I shouldn't guess but here I am. A William H. Parker and Leah (Taylor) had a son Michael Parker b. 1755 Accomack Co., Va. Of Michael's children he had a Tabitha b. 1786 d. 1824. She m. Ezekiel Smith, 1808. I cannot find when Ezekiel died. My problem is this: Robert Russell s. 1756, Accomack Va; d. 1832, Elizabeth City Co., Va., son of George Russell and Sarah (Bonwell)., m. Margaret (Peggy) Lewis who died ca 1815 Accomack,l Va. Robert then m. Tabitha. I know they were m. by 1819 when they bought land in Elizabeth City, VA OK. Here is why I am guessing that Tabitha's maiden name was Parker and she could have been Ezekiel Smith's widow. Their 1st child was named Robert TAYLOR Russell. Notice Tabitha's grandmother was Leah TAYLOR. Then their 2nd child was named Luther PARKER Russell. That makes me think that Tabitha's maiden name was Parker. Thanks for hanging through all of this with me. I really need some help with this. 2. NORAH. THEY MIGHT BE ARCHIVED. I WOULD ASK EITHER THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE OFFICIALS OR PERHAPS THE BAR ASSOCIATION. EVEN IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RECORDS, SOMEONE IN ONE PLACE OR THE OTHER SHOULD BE ABLE TO SUGGEST A PLACE TO LOOK. ELIZABETH In a message dated 5/29/2014 8:04:50 P.M.
