    3. Hi All And a very Happy New Year to a whole new year of genealogy!! May all your descendants kindly stand up and be counted!! ;-) Have completed some cross referencing of the Pallot entries I sent you all in the dying embers of 2001 and updated the master Vital Record files Lovelocks in Hampshire and Berkshire. The additions and variations were not many. Wiltshire Only two minor variations from marriage data we already had, both from the parish of Mere: 1793 John Lovelock & Martha Bridle (We had, from the IGI, Mary Bridle) 1798 Wm Lovelock & Mary Morton (We had Mary Morten) Hampshire One minor variation for Alverstoke parish: 1822 Sarah Lovelock and John Cousens (We had Sarah Stubington Lovelock & John Cousins) A variation for the parish of Hannington: 1791 Amy Lovelock & Thos Purver (We had, from the IGI, Thomas Philpot) Two new entries, also for Hannington: 1802 Jane Lovelock & John Drewett 1816 Hannah Lovelock & Jas Maskoll Finally, three new entries as follows: Winchester St Bartholomew 1809 Jan 17 Mary Lovelock & William Lee Winchester St Faith & St Clement 1803(?) Nov 9 William Lovelock & Priscilla Godwin Winchester St Thomas 1801 Nov 30 Thomas Lovelock & Olive Matton Berkshire One new item for the parish of West Hanney: 1821 Jan 11 James Lovelock of Sparsholt and Elizabeth Ann Giles (E.H.) There were no new items for Gloucestershire. Anyone found any marriages in the old City of London yet? I found one for the Berkshire Loveloock line. These London marriages are very difficult to find as there were over 100 parishes. So if your mssing marriage happens to be in the period 1790-1837, try Pallot's. You may get lucky! Best wishes for all your research over the coming year. Robert Sterry
