    3. Hi All I decided to check the IGI on the LDS site for Lovelocks in Lyneham. There are over 2000 Lovelocks in the IGI for England. Tom and Emily Lovelock Marriages abt 1842 Stephen Lovelock and Mary Ann Heale (at Lyneham, Wooton Basset) 1835 Nov 13 Stephen Lovelock and Mary Ann Hale 1836 Oct 29 Jacob Lovelock and Anna Merrit I am of course curious as to why I didn't find these before. Perhaps there are anomolies in the LDS search engine as I have discovered previously. However, that means I really need to recheck Lovelocks in the IGI for Wiltshire since there may be others that I previously also missed. Unless the LDS is still updating the IGI on-line - but I doubt it? It would probably be worth checking the actual Parish Register for Lyneham as it appears that the IGI extractions only started abt 1808 and of course burials won't be included in the IGI. Some of the entries above, certainly the ones 'abt', are obviously submissions from personal family histories not extractions from the actual PRs. So we have no idea as to their accuracy. Sadly none of the entries above appear to relate to any of the entries that John Gough gave from the family bible. But perhaps they were only born in Lyneham and baptised elsewhere. However, the Thomas George baptism: 1833 Apr 14 Thomas George s. George and Jane Lovelock would appear to relate to the George Lovelock that James Loveluck is interested in from the 1881 census. All the best Robert Sterry
