John I may have some information that may link your Glamorgan line to the George L in Lyneham My grandfather was George William Lovelock b Pill,Bristol Jan9th 1869 d Mar 21 1962 Although George W was born in Bristol he was brought up by his grandparents in Lyneham at the family home of 108 rotten row, Lyneham. I have a family bible from Lyneham which lists the following entrys William lovelock Died sat 6am Jan 23rd 189? age 82 Emma lovelock Died oct 11 1855 Thomas baptised sept 4th 1791 george lovelock b oct 4th 1853 harry lovelock (tanner) b march 1st 1872 Hope these help as i have not seen any other queries regarding Lovelocks in lyneham and would be interested in finding a link to other lines. -> In the 1881 census there is a George Lovelock living in -> Peterstone Super Ely, Glamorgan, Wales. He is listed as age -> 48, birthplace Lyneham, Wilts. There aren't any Lovelock -> births or baptisms for Lyneham in Robert's Wiltshire collected -> records.
