Greetings Lovelock researchers from a relatively new kid on the block. I have for some time been curious by the name Lovelocks that appears on the Ordnance Survey map about 3 miles north of the town of Hungerford and have just made contact with the current owner. Can anyone shed any more light on the history of this building or a possible connection with the Coxe family at Eddington House? I have checked the information provided by the Hungerford Historical Association and the owner of the property in the 1930's and 40's was a retired Army Captain ( Captain Bermeister ). The church that has a stained glass window of the house is in Shefford Woodlands not Woodford. Any additional information would be gratefully received.
